Favorite piece of Patagonia Gear

What's your Favorite piece of Patagonia Gear ?

Since they moved to a more boxy cut a few years ago and cut material quality I've moved more towards the deadbird side of things.

That being said,

the R1 hoody is unparalleled for all climbing. I love it and when mine gives up the ghost, damn right I'll get another.

Powslayer ski jacket hands down, I will never buy a different shell for skiing

Knifeblade pullover. Apparently the lamination doesn't hold up though and it is already discontinued. I liked it enough to buy a spare!

Apparently Colin Haley liked the pants a lot. And his nightmare is gear he likes being discontinued. Bummer.

Hooded nano puff

They made a Patrol Jacket a few years back that was probably my fav... not NSP. They're Cardon Shoe (leather moc) has got to be one of the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn...

Northwall pants.

Backcountry and alpine guide pants, the older styles.

I buy em used because apparently the fit changed from a slim fit to a gangsta cut over the years.

Internet shutting down for new installation.,,,could be 8 hours ,,or another day...after that,,I promise to get pics of my fav' old Patty gear of 80's to early 90's. Classic stuff...

Houdini, cap 4 hoody, knife blade top and bottom

Mid 90's Guide Pant. Still beating on them and they are still taking the abuse.

Piton hybrid hooded jacket, an awesome piece, my go to. North wall pants are a very close second. But limited use in so cal. Great design, stretch and breathability.

R1 hoody, Kb pullover - wish I could have found the pants before they were discontinued

R1, Nano Puff, Houdini. What else does a CA climber need?

Plus this Surf Cap, which they discontinued years ago, and which I'd buy in a heartbeat if I could

Adze jacket. It's the only softshell I've found with long enough arms for me. The Guide jacket came close, but the Adze is better.

Knifeblade pullover and Knifeblade pants are the best ice climbing outer layers I've ever used.

The insulated version of the pants (Northwall pants) are also terrific for really cold conditions.

Really too bad they discontinued the entire Knifeblade/Northwall line-up.
