Pain at the base of thumb

I'm a fairly healthy 28 year old male with what the internet considers to be arthritis in my right thumb joint. The pain is a dull ache that can sometimes feel sharp when provoked, usually due to my hand being squeezed, I.e taking off a tight glove, some hand jams. It seems to be effected by cold weather, but that it's just speculation. Massaging it seems to palliate the pain but it tends to come back. Do I have old man hands!? |
