Sticky rope after wash

I washed my Mammut rope last week, with light dish soap and rinsed it very well. I then took it out climbing yesterday and noticed it was very sticky while running through my atc and gri gri. Anyone else have this issue??

why did you use dish soap! SMH. Just water, and a rope brush.

I read a couple years ago that a small amt of dishsoap does the trick, apparently they were wrong and I learned the hard way. Front load and got it. Thanks guys!

Woolite and then a gentle fabric softner.
