Even after closing/reopening, restarting, and uninstalling/reinstalling, I can't update areas or download new ones on my Samsung Galaxy S3. It just says "A download error occurred. Tap to retry." Bug?
Deleting and reinstalling the app is usually the trick. Perhaps try that once more and make sure you get the new version directly from the Google Play store (not a backup or something).
We are nearing completion of a new version which completely re-does the downloading. After re-installing, if it's still failing, perhaps you could be a beta tester for the new version?
