Good (free) tent camping WA Gorge near Beacon? Not Beacon Rock State Park.

Heading to Beacon Rock with a few buddies this weekend and am wondering if there is a camping area nearby, formal or informal, that would be (optimally free), less than Beacon Rock Stat parks 27 per vehicle rate. And also less crowded.

I think its free to stay at the Bridge of the Gods Boulders main parking spot around 15 minutes away from Beacon Rock...although you'll have to bed down amongst the broken bottles and bullet casings.
