Deep Creek Narrows

Went to climb Deep Creek Narrows and couldn't find it. We parked off of Cove Circle in the dirt lot. Walked towards the swinging gate, followed the dirt road down to the water. We scrambled to the right, steep and sandy, and to the left and nothing looked like the photos. We ended up climbing about a 30 foot rock on the other side of the creek about 50 yards to the left from where the "dirt road" meets the water. Cool little spot but, Where did we go wrong? What did we climb?

You can try driving down Hunsaker Drive past Encina Way and parking along the road then descending to your right, though there may be landowners who object to you crossing their property. Best chance is probably right near the end of Hunsaker.

The location entered on the map here in Mountain Project is right where the climbs are, so if you have a way of entering those coordinates in a GPS or smartphone, that will provide some guidance if you're off track.

It sounds like you were further up-stream. Not aware of any documented climbs up there.
