Blacksburg, Virginia

anyone know of any good places to climb near Blacksburg?

Bozoo is about an hour away and has some great trad, a handful of sport routes and a ton of bouldering. I live nearby and would be willing to show you around. Also, the New is 2 hr. away, but I'm sure you know that.

In addition to Bozoo which Jonathan suggetsed, you can add McAfee's and Cascades to the list if you are looking for bouldering, both about 30 mins from Blacksburg.

Thanks, didn't even know about Cascades. I visit the Roanoke area a lot to visit family and hike and only knew of McAfee's for bouldering. The last few times I've seen McAfee's on a weekend have made me sick, 100+ cars filling the entire parking lot and overflowing all down the road.

Grayson is also about 2 more hours from the Roanoke area, it's a bit of a drive, but has tons of bouldering and you won't run into too many people.
