DIY shoe repair

One day after climbing recently, I found this pea size hole on the sole of my climbing shoe. Does DIY shoe goo work well to repair this? Mind you, I don't know brands of this/these products so advice on specific types would be appreciated. My Mythos have been in for two resoles already.

My Scarpas have also been in for a couple resoles. Does DIY work well for these types of repairs, the sole separating?

General advice for a limited budget, Thanks!!

So, is that how you say yes?

you forgot the part where you do this whole operation in a very small very unventilated room

Copy that, thanks!

  • wire brush, glue, no ventilation*
