crash pad rentals near Rumbling Bald, NC?

Anyone know of any climbing shops, gyms, or somewhere to rent a crash pad near Rumbling Bald, NC?

RB is located in a really quiet town called Lake Lure. Not a lot of retail there. Your best bet is probably Asheville (about an hour away) or a local MP'er willing to lend a pad. Where are you coming in from?

I don't know of anywhere in NC that rents crash pads.

If you're coming through Charlotte you can borrow mine.

Sunrift Adventures rents pads. Sunrift is in Travelers Rest and is about an hour from the Bald.

I didnt realize that you guys rented pads, Frost...how much are the fees? That's good to know for visiting boulderers to the area!

Certainly not good as free, but Sunrift charges $10 per day.

Thanks everyone for your replies! I ended up flying with my Organic briefcase pad. Was able to carry it on with no trouble. Only 2' x 3' but it'll do! Heading out to rumbling bald early tomorrow morning. Come on out if you're in the area!
