Not especially. The cracks get soggy immediately.

theres a lot of over hanging stuffs in the area. but Diorite gets greasy even in moist air.

The Cheeks area at Index has stuff that stays dry and 'non-greasy' in a rain. On quite a few routes, one can easily set up a toprope. But if it has been raining for a few days, even the really steep stuff will seep.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
