I'm looking for pants that are lightweight enough to stuff in my summit pack and waterproof enough to get me off the rock and back to the car in a rainstorm without getting soaked.
I don't plan to spend any more time out in the rain than I have to, so I don't think I need anything fancy, just something I can pull on over my climbing pants in a hurry.
They need to have hip room, since I'm pretty curvy, and it would be awesome if they were in the $50-$75 range.
Guys: If you respond to this, I hope it's because you're dating/married to a curvy girl and know specifically what works for her.
OR makes a pair of rain paints that is stretchy, with side zips, stuff into their own pocket with clip-in loop. They used to be called Revel pants and came in men's and womens versions. Now the womens version has a different name, maybe the Reflexa model. Slightly more than your price range but worth it IMO.
