Hey all,
I just moved to Bountiful UT and rode my bike up the Mueller Park trail up to "Elephant Rock" I was wondering if it was open to climbing. And if so how well does it protect. I'm assuming you would have to climb its north face, but I was too wiped out to go around and look and I couldn't tell from being on top of it. Any knowledge of this area would help me out. Thanks!

If i remember correctly there is at least one bolted line that climbs to the top. Doesn' really look worth the journey up there. It doesn't look harder than 5.6.

If you haven't biked with your climbing pack on, I highly recommend it. Makes you feel like you've gained some serious blubber--all that weight on your seat.

Ha ha, I'll have to consider that idea with the bike. My bag is really heavy. And I might look at doing some trad if there are any good cracks.
