Replacement Foam?

Last year I bought replacement foam for an old crash pad directly from the company that made the pad, paying ~$80 after shipping costs. The foam is now shot, after <40 days. (I don't want to bad mouth the company because they generally do good things so I won't name them here.)

Anyways, I was wondering if anyone here could recommend a replacement foam alternative to buying directly from the pad maker?

Most major metropolitan areas have foam manufacturers/dealers, who do a variety of types of open-cell foam. When the foam on my pad was shot, I just found one of these dealers in my area brought in the old foam, and got a suitable replacement for way less than $80.

The place I found did not have closed-cell foam. However, this was not a huge deal, since that is usually not the part of the bouldering pad that gets shot first.

I just bought some of this foam to use in an old beat up crash pad. It's a similar density to foam used in other crash pads and works well, although to be honest I'd prefer if it was a bit firmer. I can't speak for it's durability because I just bought it, but the price is right.

Asana also sells replacement foam here, but I've never used it.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
