probably a dumb topic but was wondering if anyone else has had the problem with the buckles on velcro shoes tearing off from the shoe. I've been practicing silent feet as much as i can when i climb so i dont think its because of horrible footwork(yes it can be improved) Looking for some suggestions for a new shoe my miura's have sort of let me down as fair as ruggeness or lasting very long. Was thinking of maybe trying a pair of shoes with laces.
Yes, and one that's been discussed before. Would you take a lamborghini on an off-road expedition and complain that it wore out too fast?
I lament your poor Muiras. Imagine them, sitting in the factory, dreaming of the adventures they will have...

Instead they got to walk around in the dirt in mid-western America.

The velcro straps on Miura VS's are just not very hearty. Mine have come apart on two different pairs and I don't even do any crack climbing in them.
I agree fully that they are great shoes Mono just felt that they wore out a little faster than i expected thats all was wondering people's opinions on the difference.
I do however climb cracks in my Muira VS's, although the velco is definetly a diy fix. OOOr when I sent my shoes in to prodeal resole they fixed them for me, without my even asking or charging me more.
