I bought a Mountain Hardwear Lamina 15 Degree Synthetic Sleeping bag (I believe it a Size: Long)I would like to buy a compression sack for it and also a stuff sacks since that did not come with it, about what size (either dimension or volume would be helpful) should I order?
Remember that compressing insulation beyond the stuff sack range permanently reduces the insulating value of synthetic bags. I'd suggest compressing clothes, tent body/fly, before you compress your sleeping bag.
Always keep them stored loose, never keep them in a stuff sack in a warm environment (car trunk).
8x16 sounds ok, you can always send off an email to MH to get their 'preferred' size.
