I got a question for you gear gurus

What size Compression Sack do I need?

What size Stuff Sack do I need?

I bought a Mountain Hardwear Lamina 15 Degree Synthetic Sleeping bag (I believe it a Size: Long)I would like to buy a compression sack for it and also a stuff sacks since that did not come with it, about what size (either dimension or volume would be helpful) should I order?

Says 8x16 inches or 13.2 liters.

Hope that helps.

Remember that compressing insulation beyond the stuff sack range permanently reduces the insulating value of synthetic bags.
I'd suggest compressing clothes, tent body/fly, before you compress your sleeping bag.

Always keep them stored loose, never keep them in a stuff sack in a warm environment (car trunk).

8x16 sounds ok, you can always send off an email to MH to get their 'preferred' size.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
