where to get snow reports for skiing?

What's the best website for snow reports for summit county? For example:

forecast.weather.gov/MapCli…

shows a 70% chance of snow wednesday night and thursday in Frisco but it doesn't report expected accumulation totals. Does this mean they're going to get an inch, or 20? Any better sites? I'm free all day friday if there is going to be any decent snow...

get the hook-up with the CAIC -- daily e-mails, snowpack, weather discussions, & of course, avy considerations.

There is a map that allows you to zoom into any area. They give estimated snow totals when the storm is within 24 hours. Any prediction on snow amounts that is more then 24 hours ahead is not very reliable.

I think it is the best weather forcasting on the web. It is also very easy to use.

This web-site will tell you current conditions (and recent snowfall), but doesn't tell you what's expected.

www.opensnow.com . it sticks to the resorts, but you can extrapolate from there if your in the backcountry. This website is the bees knees.

While NOAA forecasts are probably the best - esp if u use the little google map feature and double click on specific locations for hyper local forecasting - I think this site is the best for those who want SNOW specific maps

Individual ski area websites always have snow conditions.

There is no single site that has fully current reports. You have to check out each area's website individually or call the Vail snow report hotline. Generally Loveland and the top of Breckenridge get the most snow in the Summit area. Vail and BC can get more loaded from due-western storms. As well, take the reports with a grain of salt. Many areas over-report a tad. At the same time, a report of, say 12" at Breck or A-Basin could mean there are areas with well over 24" loaded up in the right spots on the upper mountain.

I like snowforecast.com. Works pretty well for the Colorado region. They are resort specific though. OpenSnow is great too.

+1 for NOAA as the best and a nod to Joel Gratz who is doing very well with OpenSnow.com. If you have twitter, follow @gratzo for good updates--speaking of, check out the "best snow forecast ever" image he posted from this morning: twitter.com/#!/gratzo/statu…

Hoping the predictions stay the same or get even better for a great day of skiing on Sunday!
