Mounting Dynafit bindings...
|
Anyone know the best location/ski tech to mount Dynafit bindings to a pair of Drift skis? |

ProSki. |

If you are in Denver, Matt over at Edgeworks/Bicycle Dr. (On S. Broadway) is hands down one of the best ski techs in the State. He was done plenty of Dynafit Mounts and Insert Mounts (Don't worry if you dont know what that is...) |

Thanks for the beta... |

Moved to 'Colorado'. |

You can free hand it with this template quite easily, Most places will charge around 40$ or so, but it seems Bent Gate has their shit together these days, If you have not already bought Dynafits, DON'T and get some Plum's instead, You will be happier in the long run. Best Low Tech binding ever made!!!!!!! |

I have some Plum bindings, but can't find anyone in Fort Collins to mount them. Any suggestions? |

dont bother dynafit is absolute junk...one of my best friends were sponsered by them for two year(during that time frre bindings for me and him, we probably broke at least 3 pairs and he dropped them) the worst touring binding ever! |

boots are pretty solid though |

If you're in the San Juans, I can do it for you. Just moved (back) to Telluride after working the ski shop thang for a bunch of years elsewhere. Brought all my tools and a Dynafit jig. Back in Cali I was charging ~1/2 the going shop rate, usually $25. |

Mounting any type of binding...AT, tele, or alpine...is easy. Do it yourself, learn something new, and save some $$$. Do some Google searches, download a paper template online, get a six pack, and have at it. Just make sure you measure and re-measure before drilling. |

Dyanfit is bomber. Larry's Boot Fitting is the shit if your in the Boulder area and will do a great job of mounting. |

I'm only 145# and I love them. I did break one once when I wound up having to use them at a resort and nailed a roller I couldn't see going way too fast. Amazingly, they got me through the rest of the day. I was surprised they actually held up so well considering how hard I tagged that thing. YMMV, esp if you're bigger. |
