what to do with torn velcro straps?

i have a pair of five ten blackwings and the bottom velcro straps on both shoes are on the verge of being torn off. this is the result of alot of toe camming and toe hooking. anyway, i emailed five ten customer service asking if anything could be done but they never responded.
im sure people have found themselves is this situation before. so what is the best thing to do?

Sew a piece of flat webbing over the break. I was able to use a lightweight i.e. regular home sewing machine.

If you don't have a machine look for a speedy stitcher or an awl for all.

I have had both but found the Awl for All to be easier to use.
