Camping in Logan Canyon

I am planning a trip to Logan Canyon over the July 4th weekend, and was wondering where the best place would be to camp in the area. I would like to be close to the climbing so there isn't too much driving involved once in the canyon. Any information would be appreciated.

Free or paid camping is available in Logan OR BlackSmith Canyon. Blacksmith is located just south of Logan (Hyrum to be exact). If you climb 5.12s the Hardware wall is worth a day or 2. The approach to Blacksmith involves 20 min drive down a dirt road, but there are camping spots within 5 min. of the crag.

Thank you very much for the info.

What's your camping set up? Since it's all forest land, it's pretty easy to camp just about anywhere. It will be busy, though, since all of the yuppies come out of the woodwork and suddenly appear in the canyon around the 4th.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
