What's up on what way? They've been around a while, but near as I can tell aren't all that popular.

Are there any places to find the technical specs on these suckers. I have two but only use them when I want another piece but don't need another piece. They dont give off a confident "I will hold you if you fall" vibe.
A call to Liberty Mountain would likely get you what you're looking for, as I believe they're the ones who sell Advanced Base Camp cams. Looks like they've been redesigned, so this particular version isn't on their site anymore. On a side note, I think they're rebranded Kong Slit Fit cams.

Cool, I know nothing about them so that's very useful! Thanks man!
Huh. Turns out I actually have two of them in the donated-gear-to-be-broken pile. I wonder who they came from? I've been meaning to get back into the busting stuff thing, so perhaps I'll throw them on the puller tomorrow. I've always wondered how strong those cast/molded lobes are (especially on the #7 sitting here, which covers ~80-125mm).
Oh, in case the call to Liberty Mountain doesn't work try dropping Stephane Pennquin at the Nuts Museum an email. He's sure to know something about them, if not their entire history and development.
