Castle Rock car camping beta

I'm in the bay area on business and was hoping to get some climbing in at Castle Rock, but today when I went to camp there I was told the only sites were a 3 mile hike in! Damn, thts my fault for not planning ahead but surely there's other camping nearby where I could sleep in my van, nope, at least not according to the rangers. All the camp areas nearby were either full or don't allow you to sleep in your car.

I need a place to sleep tomorrow night, preferably in my van, I didn't bring a tent, so that I can climb at Castle Rock all day Sunday before heading back to Los Angeles.

Does anyone have any good beta on places/camp sites/back alleys where I could sleep in my van for the night in relative safety???

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Wait I do. Am I the only one here? I hate super topo and rockclimbing.com.
There's just no good car camping near CRSP. Is there? I usally hike in 2.8 miles to the campground. Dont be a woose its not that bad.
