Bernard Gillett wrote:Nope, not LCC (nor granite). I'll save you the trouble of further guesses with the answer: First photo is my oldest on Boardwalk. Not the Boardwalk in Vedauwoo near Walt's Wall, but at Crow Hill, MA. Great little 5.5 on the right end of the crag where Henry Barber free climbed some classic hard crack routes long ago.Ah, for shame! I cannot even id granite. . . . |

Mary Jane Dihedral on Snow Creek Wall!? Funny, I've climbed Orbit and Prusik, but it took me some route stalking online to figure out what the hell goes up from there. I think I need a life, or at least a trip to the climbing gym. Obscurity corner! |

I draw the line on rap-bolted mixed routes. It's not that I have anything against them, but they all look the same, and most are not in guidebooks, so nobody knows what they're called. |

If this latest pic is indeed less than well known........... ?????? Give us a break/chance. |

Hey, hey! If you ice climb in this very popular region you have probably walked right past this thing. The view in the background should be a huge help. It's also right next to an uber popular climb. Furthermore it's in the database. Now quit your sniveling. |

The Sky is Falling? Camp Bird Road?? |

Yes on the region, no on the route. |
