Lodging suggestions for Smith Rock

My husband and I will be traveling out there mid Sept and was looking for suggestions of where to stay that's close to climbing. We won't be bringing camping gear. I was hoping to find a hostel or cheap but clean motel. Web searching hasn't been too helpful since it mostly came up with places in Redmond. I know it's not too far but maybe you folks will have a better idea of where to stay.

Thanks!

I'm not aware of any motels in Terrebonne. We always stay in Redmond (if we're staying in a motel), which is where you will be going every day to eat anyway. The cheapest place we've found were around $45/night.

Hub Motel in Redmond used to be cheap & clean (enough...looks worse than it is though). Ownership might have changed lately & prices have gone up as well. Motel 6 in Redmond is the next cheapest option we found (esp. good value if you have a dog).

We always stay at the Sleep Inn and Suites in Redmond..It's around 80 bucks a night, but you get a continental breakfast, a pool and a hot tub and a nice clean room. Only about a 15 minute drive to the park.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
