Calistoga/Mt. St. Helena Camping

Hello. I am curious if anyone has beta on camping or overnight parking in the Mt. St. Helena Area. Any help is much appreciated!

The nearest legal camping is either down in Calistoga (fairgrounds area, not the best tent camping) or just south of Calistoga at Bothe Napa State Park. (20 Minute Drive from MSH parking area) Leaving a car parked overnight at the MSH trailhead parking lot can be a dicey call. There are rumored break-ins occurring there, though it's doubtful your car would be ticketed.
