Does anyone know what the law is regarding bridge swinging in Colorado? I did some digging and couldn't find anything. Any first hand experience?

I still have a 200 ft. static rope we used to set up a zip line off a 65 ft. cliff in Barton Creek in Austin. My friends rigged it between two trees with just the right amount of tension to have you stop slowly right at the downhill tree. Jumping off the cliff was awesome! No water that day as I recall.

I would venture to say if a cop drives by and someone is swinging off a bridge, there is a reasonable chance s/he will stop, especially if you live in a metro area. Supposed it depends on the cop. I doubt there is a law in many, if any, states that explicitly say rigging a rope swing on a bridge is illegal, but cops have a way of molding non-applicable laws to suit whatever activity you are doing to "prove" that you are breaking the law (e.g. "disorderly conduct").
