Was wondering if anyone out there has a copy of the old "The Climber's Guide to U.N.H." (circa 1975) by Todd Swain... It seems that the New Hampshire Outing Club has lost there copy and it would be cool 1. have a copy for myself and 2. return a copy to the NHOC for future reference and climbers at the school.

is this the same guide as the old pawtuckaway state park guide?

No this is either the guide that Todd makes mention of in the opening of the 1980's guide for Pawtuckaway or it's something completely different... I ran across the the title "The Climber's Guide to U.N.H" off this website & he's made mention of putting it up on this site as a down loadable file but no such luck as of yet...

I have a copy of the both the Todd Swain and Dave/Marie Saball and Paul Boissonneault guidebooks for Pawtuckway... Would also like a copy of the one that the Saball's and Base did for the Manchester area...

I have a copy of a pawtuckaway guide, I think it's the 80's pre, dave sabell guide.
it was a photo copied version, I'll look and see if it's got a date on it. it's the only version I've seen. it is specific to pawtuckawy

Yeah I wished I picked up both of guidebooks (P-way and the Manchester area)that Dave, Marie and Base wrote back in the '95. Granted I wasn't rock climbing back then but they would be nice to have on hand now. Plus trying to find a copy of them now if like pulling teeth and next to impossible, I found both P-way guides (base and Swain) but I'm still looking for the Manchester one.

Man if you could do that would be awesome and take all the time you need...

Again thanks for the hook up

Any chance I could get on the list for a copy of the Manchester and UNH guides? I live in Candia and work in Durham, so either one would be really useful. Pretty please?

Sure

Still waiting on word about the UNH guide but as soon as I get a copy of the Manchester one I'll send it your way or Edge can send a copy over to you when he sends my copy out. Either way you should be able to get a copy...

The same goes for the UNH guide, which might be sometime...

Edge if you like i email you a copy of both Pawtuckaway guidebooks (Todd Swain and the Base/Saball) if you like...

Ho man. Sorry I'm late on this, but I've been looking for that Manchester book for years. Any chance I could get on that list, or maybe just scan and upload it somewhere?
I have a copy of the Saball/Boissonneault Pawtcuk I'd be willing to scan if you're interested. To sweeten the deal I could even scan the '92 Schist Another Hangout Rumney book by Den Danna (obviously outdated, but old guidebooks are cool!)

Not sure if anyone will see this 14 years after the original post... but, I do have a digital copy of the climber's guide. Looks like it's missing a few pages, so I'm looking for a physical copy if anyone has one. I am willing to send the copy I have around if anyone wants, but be warned most pictures are blurry and it's missing a few pages.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
