I'd like to check out Lower Dream Canyon for the first time, but unsure of how to get there. Sounds like there are "no trespassing" signs up at the falls. Does everyone ignore the signs or park up higher for Upper Dream Canyon?

Go down the tourist path as you would to see the falls, but keep your eyes open for a way up. You head uphill around the place where they have tiers of rocks behind metal lattice to prevent erosion. Keep high and you will see a keyhole in the rock. Go through the keyhole and down the steep path. This is how you would get to Plotinus Wall and the lower canyon routes just above the falls.

Tim, anyone else, uphill left or uphill right? I tried this last year but my partner wouldn't continue cause of the dam no trespassing signs. Thanks. Climb Ohn. Wally

Uphill left, the creek is to your right. If you look carefully, Facing uphill left, I think there is a decently well-established trail the cuts left before heading right higher up, toward the "keyhole" . I think this trail may bypass the "area closed" signs. I reccomend Smell the Coffee. I thought it was a very fun route, with some fun moves.

Up hill LEFT good luck going right. If you pass the no trespassing sign you've gone too far.

Haven't been there since construction began at the falls last week. You may want to have an alternate destination in mind, as the Daily Camera said trail access may be affected during the construction. But then again, it might not be an issue now.

Went climbing there today - directions for Plotinus Wall were perfect. There are "closed"/"no trespassing" signs EVERYWHERE! I certainly didn't see anyway to get up without directly ignoring the signs. Too bad they can't have "climbers only" signs or something like that...
