So, where is a good and moderately priced place to go get sushi after climbing at Mt. Lemmon?

My favorite has always been Sushi Ten on Speedway just west of Swan. Good sushi with large portions and good prices. I always figured it was a good sign that there were a lot of Japanese customers everytime I went. Disclaimer: I have not lived in Tucson for 4 years, but I am pretty sure they are still there.

Sushi on Oracle (Oracle and Orange Grove) is the best in town. Tatsu (Oracle and Ina) is also good. There is another one at Craycroft and River I don't know the name of. Yoshimatsu (Campbell and Glenn) is good for all sorts of Japanese fare.

I think Sushi Ten is still there but the management has changed. It was recommended to me by a Japanese student and used to be my favorite place to go for sushi (very good food, large portion and fairly priced) before. But I have to say I am very disappointed after the change of management (and probably the Chef too). I went there once last year, the menu was different and the food was not so good any more! Other than that, I think Yoshimatsu (Campbell and Glenn) is great for Japanese food (noodle, rolls, rice bowl, curry, etc etc) and the little shop there have some very cute Japanese merchandise! Also, Shogun on Oracle and River is pretty good too. Make sure to check the rolls on special. Otherwise, the price is a bit on the high side from my point of view.

Sushi on Oracle is number 1 for sure. Sushi Saga if you want a wild mix of Japanese and Mexican culture both in food and people AJ's Market ( Sunrise and Campbell ) Sachiko ( Wilmot and Speedway next to Trader Joes ) Those are probably your best bets. KARMA in Flag gave me the shits for a day! NO BUENO. -Dale

I like Ginza on Kolb just south of Sunrise. First time there last week. Everything was delicious, but I had to have them bring me more wasabi. I can't get enough of the green stuff!
