This was always one of my favorites - the compliments we got from folks. Slogging away on perl code until 4am wasn't fun, but these made it worth the time.

Since running this site, we've received many a compliments, comments, questions, suggestions, and idiotic messages. Here's a list of some of them - it was going to be just compliments from people, but we've thrown in a few others from notables, funny ones, and comments from really stupid people. This is our shrine to our own hubris, and a great way to waste a Monday morning at work. (Note: some of the comments have been truncated in the interests of not making them boring. We put ... wherever we cut words out.)

... Thank you for all the awsome info on your site--really great. Oh--if we are going to buy just one climbing guide to the area which would you recommend? Thanks for writing me back Myke! I was looking at the Neptune web page yesterday (link from your page) and printed out the directions—we’ll definitely go by there. (and tell them you sent us!) I know what you mean about the variation from place to place—I got to climb in Owen’s River Gorge (CA—have you ever been there? REALLY great climbing) about a month ago and got the impression that there rating was easier than our. We have more friction climbing down here—& I love it. As a female I don’t have *quite* as much upper body as the males I climb with but I’m better than they are on friction (don’t tell them I said that). THANK YOU for all of your advise/suggestions. Ben Mottinger wrote too—you guys are great!
Take care,
Caroline

COMMENTS Nice site, guys. I'd be interested in helping y'all out with it. Take a look at my Los Alamos site http//www.geocities.com/yosemite/trails/9507/new.htm I have a miniguide coming out in the next issue of Rock and Ice, as well, and I may have a book coming out in the fall. I might be around this summer (see the info on the fire on my website) and I'd love to do some work on your site. I have climbed a ton of stuff at Clear Creek, Dream Canyon, and some other random stuff in Boulder Canyon. I was also a Shelf Road local for a number of years and could probably put together some stuff on Shelf. Anyhow, drop me an email. BTW, your forms are set up a little bit wrong (at least on this UNIX workstation) and I can't read what the third field is supposed to be. Thanks! Great site!

COMMENTS I concur that there are many mistakes in Rossiter's guides, and your desire to provide more accurate route information is warranted. However, I am concerned about the "quality control" of the descriptions you are providing on your website. To provide the most accurate and up-to-date route information you may want to add a "comments" or "feedback" section as part of the descriptions so that information can be corrected or modified by your site visitors. For example, I don't know anyone who climbs "Over The Hill" in 3 pitches, rather pitches 1 & 2 are combined to avoid a cramped belay midway up the main dihedral. Also, although all fixed pins should be considered suspect, the only way to evaluate a pin is with a hammer- how did your reviewer test these pins to conclude they are "crappy"? Other information, such as the fact that the staging area below the route is an accident waiting to happen due to all the loose rock below the final pitch, would be useful. Finally, this route is on Rincon, not the West Ridge. If you provided a forum for climbers to provide additional info / feedback, the final product may be of a higher quality.

I'm the webmaster at where I work and have plenty of time to surf the web (when I am supposed to be working) and came across this gem of a site. Partly why I was searching was because I was making a trip up to Boulder to see a friend and she didn't know any places to climb other than "castlewood canyon" cause she had seen some people climbing there before. You're site had the most beta about it all hands down. Thank you and I know I am going to have fun next week...climb on!

Howdy,
Your website looks great, and is an excellent resource for out of town climbers, especially. Thanks for the hard work!
I was a pretty hardcore Boulder climber back in the late eighties/early nineties. I worked at the now closed-down Boulder Mountaineer for about 5 years, and had a great time doing routes in the area. I now live in Texas, and plan to bring a friend up to do many of the classics over a long weekend in early September. We are planning on doing the Third Flatiron, Touch & Go to Anthill direct, and Yellow Spur, along with some others....I have done all of the routes we've chosen at least four or five times previously, but I haven't climbed in Eldo since 1993. It will my partner's first chance to get more than a pitch or two off the deck...Texas isn't exactly full of multipitch trad climbs.
Anyway, I'm wondering if there have been any major changes to the fixed gear on these routes? Specifically, I'm interesed in the piton ladder at the top of Yellow Spur. You're route description mentions bolts on the crux pitch, but my memory is of mostly older pitons....has any of this gear been replaced? I'm also curious about the piton which protects the crux move of Anthill Direct....is it in good condition? Has the rappel protocol changed for the third. When I've done it previously (with a single rope) You did one rap to the bowl below the summit, than another down to the next ledge, where (if you had a single rope) you had to rap to the left to another anchor above Friday's (or Saturday's, can't remember) Folly to do your final rap. You had to be careful to get the correct anchor here, since the first one you see requires double ropes....I know this area well, but want to make sure nothing has changed.
Anyway, I have Boulder Climbs North and South, and have done the routes many times...just want to make sure there will be no surprises. We'll probably do the Bastille Crack, or Hair City or something, but I'm assuming not much has changed on the bastille. Thanks for your help....your website rocks!!

While you re-discover what was done 20 years ago, you may be surprised and interested to find that most of the walls have been climbed with all natural hand holds (i.e., only holds on the face - no top, bottom, side). Not only does this provide a whole new dimension to the walls but also another level of difficulty above your ratings.
NAME Joel Vaughan
COMMENTS i jsut have to say that this is probably one of the best sites that i've seen. it seems to me better than any guide book. mostly because the the quality of the pictures and the easy reading of the routes. keep it up.

COMMENTS Hey dude, just got back from your neck of the woods. I loved it. Met some great guys and especialy girls -) ummm Kim from the Irish pub. The rock was the best. The blokes at Neptunes were most helpful, but man your climbing shit is so expensive. I was hoping to score some cheap rope, not the case. The same shoes I bought in Canada are about $60.00 more expensive in the USA. Go figure the shoes are made in the USA. Oh well. So give us a nudge if you ever make it to Squamish, I'll give you the run down on all the cool Pubs/Clubs to go to after the wall. Next time I'm going to stay for longer than 3 days.
Peace,
Steve.

Thanks for the reply! Ben also responded. Nice site, good service too! I was just interested in the rating for the routes off that bolt. I normally climb in MN and SD (I live in Omaha) ... I lost it there and bailed on a #11 hex. If you want it, I'll tell you where it is. Sitting here at home drinking a beer, it seems like a real chickenshit move. At the time, it felt like the only move! Anyway, thanks for the quick responce.

COMMENTS Hey Mike,Good running into you on the Upper Meadow in Eldo on Saturday. Hope Upper T2 was fun- that finger crack is good, but the rotten traverse up higher is kind of a pile. The website is looking better and better. Still would be nice to have a comments / revision section for your route descriptions. The new addition for Yellow Wall is interesting, but most people call the route that is described "The Forrest Finish", which implies the inclusion of the lower pitches of the Yellow Wall. The Yellow Wall traverses right out of the Forrest Finish crack system and it is on that pitch that the real climbing is found- a dicey traverse followed by a thin and powerful lieback. Curious that Kor went right there- my friend Roger, who has climbed up there alot (he first climbed the Yellow Wall at age 16 in 1967) thinks Kor was just looking for some harder and thinner climbing than the crack system (i.e. Forrest Finish) that goes straight up. Also, the 2 upper pitches (above Table Ledge) are the real business- exposed, insecure climbing, with not-so-great protection. Not to mention you're tired by then. Having climbed the Yellow Wall at least 4 times now, I still find these last 2 pitches to be the crux of the route, certainly with the tired factor. For historical information sake, the first free ascent of the complete Yellow Wall (including the 5.11 dihedral start) was done in 1978 by Charlie Fowler and Dan Stone. A week later Chip Chace and I did the 2nd ascent- on the same day that Charlie free-soloed the Casual Route. Wild stuff! Still, cool to see a Diamond route included on your site. Keep up the good work, and see you out at the crags.

First, we would like to thank the developers of this page for putting together so much information. It is a comprehensive effort that has been sorely needed.
We do, however, have a suggestion for improving the site. The problem is that the route information for most of the front range areas is poorly represented, and routes selected for comment reflect an odd choice. Many important and popular routes have been omitted. There are several route developers who would gladly supply additional information to flush out the site. If you would be interested in this assistance, just let us know. We will help where it is possible and suggest others who will also gladly provide information.
Keep up the great work!! We need your site.

I sent this idea via the present format because I thought it might end up in front of all of you. If this is possible, I could obtain contributions from several of the local new route developers.

COMMENTS These comments are intended for a message board. Unfortunately, I was unable to find one on your site. Yesterday, I took a trip up to the sports crag in order to try and understand what the recent controversy is all about. I have been climbing for 10 years throughout the U.S. as well as in Europe and in this amount of time I have never seen anything quite like the sport park. I have been a Boulder resident for the last three years, prefering to boulder and sport climb rather than trad climb for the majority of my days out at the cliffs. Due to trips to rifle in the summer, I have not spent much time climbing in Boulder Canyon. Never the less, my trip up to the sport park was very eye opening. My view is basically this climbing ethics, grading, etc... are based upon loose unwritten agreed upon standards. These are basically, (in sport climbing) preferably no chipping, squeezing of lines, bolting cracks, or altering of the natural environment. These are aesthetic rules the enhance the experience for others. All of these unwritten rules have been violated in the worst way by the equippers of the sport park. Anchors are two feet apart. Entire routes are manufactured rather than individual holds that link blank sections of rock. Landscaping for its own sake is everywhere. Isn't this Boulder? One of the climbing centers of the country. The actions of the climbers who equipted the sports park are absolutely laughable, and their routes are laughable. What they have done speaks volumes about their ability and sense of adventure. If this is what the climbing community wants as a whole then so be it, but what recoarse do individuals such as myself and my friends have when a few individuals vandalize crags? I am basically sending this e-mail to throw my support behind those individuals who are rectifying the situation and trying to salvage one of the most admirable sports in the world in one of the most respected places to pursue it. Before looking at the sport park, I had my doubts about the actions of the bolt removers, but now it is crystal clear that the equippers of the sport park have crossed the line. What is wrong with you people?

Hello,
My name is Jay Griffiths. I am doing research for Norsemen Productions regarding a television show ("The Man-Made Movie") we produce for Turner Broadcasting and airs on TBS.
For the show, we create wraparound segments for showing movies. The concept for "The Man-Made Movie" is that we are building the ultimate guy house just outside of Atlanta. Each week we focus on an aspect of the construction of the house. We then relate this to the movie we are presenting for that show.
Within the show we have a segment called "At A Guy's House." If you've ever seen the show "Cribs" on MTV, then you already have a good idea as to the style and content of the segment. We find someone who has a house, room in the house, or collection of some sort that relates to the movie we are presenting that episode.
We are preparing to shoot an episode for the movie "Cliffhanger". Therefore, we are now looking for someone who has the ultimate climbing wall at their house or they live next to a cliff/mountain that is great for climbing.
If you or someone you know fits that description, please contact me at this email address or via phone at 310-455-2665. For further information on our shows, you may find it at superstation.com.
Regards,
Jay Griffiths

... just me passing along the opinions of me and my housemate. Gene and I are moving to colorado springs in <2 months, while it aint boulder exactly, it is a hell of a alot closer to huge climbing than pittsburgh ever will be. We came on your site by yahoo search and were awestruck by the pics of the flatirons. As newbie trad leaders, they seriously made us drool. We cant freaking wait to get out there and hit some of this stuff and Im anticipating using your site further when we get there. Site construction and interface, all that stuff is A-1. Best climbing site Ive ever seen I think. Being able to search out specific climbs, ie trad from 5.1-5.5 is just damn awesome. Excellent site.

COMMENTS Mega phat! Hope the partner page works...I'll be there for 2 weeks soon and I want to climb!. This is one of the best climbing sites I've seen in terms of useability, navigation and sheer bulk of solid (hey, it's rock climbing beta) information. The "climbing community" owes you one. If I ever see you at Mountain Sun, let me know and I'll buy you a beer. Thanks for spending so much of your own time on the site. It's stellar already, and gets better all the time. Thanks, still enjoying the site and hope you're having a great summer.
COMMENTS Hi, i like your site. I an a climber fom australia and looking for photos. if you could please send me some that would be cool.

That is the brilliant part of your site - everyone does just a little work, and the whole ends up being much greater than the sum of the parts.

CB.com is really an exceptional site. Very nice work, great interactivity.

Damn good site. An excellent resource. Keep up the great work! I hope you have help entering info and otherwise maintaining the site. Just maintaining my little site(s) is enough, but this one is growing like crazy, day by day. It isn't about to stop either. Your architecture/design is really to the point, gets things done and obviously stimulates alot of interest and excitement.

COMMENTS Just a note to let you know I think you have a great site, full of information and opinions about crags that just wouldn't fit into a guidebook but are essential to knowing if an area's worth really visiting or not. Interesting the somewhat politicized debates which flare up from time to time, but maybe if people have it out on the web this crazy bolt war will stop. Anyway, keep up the good work.

COMMENTS Let me know what slant would work best, both aesthetically and technically. I really applaud you for taking a stance with your site -- it's mushroomed into a very public venue and I'm glad you're not letting fear of offending certain members of the climbing community compromise your stance.

COMMENTS climbingboulder is your (and I suppose your friends') website. For people to accuse you guys of being dictatorial, etc. is absurd. Of course you can be dictatorial with your own site! Its yours. Anyway, you have gone out of your way to accomodate other view points and I'm sure you're well aware of this. You guys are doing a fine job with the site. You are being far more tolerant than I would on the chipping issue. Chippers fit the same psychological profile as people that would use liposuction instead of excersise to improve their appearance.

Myke -
A 'short story' I thought you might be interested in...
On Saturday I took a new climbing partner up Rewritten. This was our first climb together, I had met her via the partner finder page...
While queued up at the base, another party asked if I could take some pictures of the leader, as he wanted to post them on 'this climbing site' (ie climbingboulder.com).
On top of P2 we were waiting for traffic to clear - a couple groups had come up via Green Spur. During the inevitable small talk, it turns out that all the folks were also very familiar with your website.
Well, to make a long story short, almost everyone we met on the route (and there were tons, we had to wait at every belay), was a regular reader of or contributor to your site.
I found it pretty interesting, thought you might get a kick out of it.

COMMENTS Sometimes it seems that there is so much spray going on that you should consider handing out face masks and dribble bibs before people can submit. But in reality dialog is almost always a good thing. What I really wanted to say is that you have done a FABULOUS job with this site and not just because it is about climbing but because it is so well thought out, layed out and presented. The mark of a quality site is the ease with which it can be navigated. You deserve many kudos for your vision, perserverence and wit. Consider this a standing ovation!

COMMENTS (from another site): Having watched the CB.com site grow from a couple of fed up climbers with wed talent, I know it is a lot of work to maintain a web site and really requires a community to make it work best. But ultimately, it's the administrator who does the grunt work. Myke Komarnitsky (the main founder/administrator of CB.com) is a hell of a guy, and very open with his site architecture. Can't say enough about how he and Ben M and folks educated me that the web can be friendly and informative without the immature spray and banter from most user-based sites. It really comes from the administrator, and a nod to you that your site is so fondly regarded among users.

COMMENTS Great site. I really appreciate your hard work.

COMMENTS Saw your post on the 4000 routes! Congrats! Just wanted to express my thanks for maintaining such an awesome site! If it were not for this site, i'm pretty sure i would have gone postal at work at least a few times by now. It was probably just a simple concept when you started this site, but wow...was it worth it! CB.com is incredibly informative, inspiring, and fun! Thanks again! Let me know if you ever need help with anything as I have a pretty good IT background. YEE HAAA!!!

COMMENTS I love climbingboulder. It is so helpful to a relatively new climber like me. I find myself using it before most climbs.
NAME Bob Lagier
COMMENTS Seems like the recent string of slags is just part of the pattern that has long been established by posters to climbingboulder. If it was my site, I would never have let it get started that way (i.e. I think you should have started the site as a set of *moderated* discussion threads). But its outta control now, so what are you gonna do?
NAME Rui Ferreira
COMMENTS: Love climbingboulder keep up the good work.

COMMENTS: No problem, and I just wanted to say thanks for putting up such a great web page. Not only is it extremely useful but in this world where nobody knows their neigbhors it goes a long way towards building a cohesive climbing community. I'm sure compliments like this are a small pittance when you add up all the time you've put into this thing so if I ever see you out at the crags let me by you a beer.

COMMENTS Myke, I just read your post on Boulder Canyon. Thanks for your efforts to keep this site the class act it can and should be and, in large part, is. Hopefully the clowns who are thinking with what's in their underwear will take the hint. I'm a high school teacher, so I can say that! A lot of the mindless spew that occasionally shows up on the site sounds exactly like what I hear in locker rooms. Thanks again.

NAME: Andrew Etringer
COMMENTS I love your website; it's very useful.
NAME: Chris Schmidt
COMMENTS P.S.- Very helpful site you guys have. Keep up the good work. Thanks for all the work you put in on the site. It has been a regular, although infrequent, source of much mirth for me. The site is so good. I've heard lots of people who don't comment on the site find the info useful.
Funny, one guy that was laid up with an injury got some energy out of reading some stuff _ offered to take me up in a plane to view some backcountry stuff.
Funny, folks I know at shops _ friends of friends have found the obscure route info very nice. I like trying to spread the people out. Keeps the conflicts down. Plus, there's so many fun routes out there.
It's still a great site with some bs (AC's _ spray-whiners).
Thanks for all the hard work,
NAME: Dave Holliday
COMMENTS I think this website is a great resource and I fully support your efforts. Keep up the great work! In spite of all the Jerry Springeresque dialogue, the site is a wonderful resource for climbers, new and old.....And when the weather's too bad for climbing, or maybe just when the sun goes down, it can provide more than a few laughs for those of us stuck inside. I think that's where you take your 'win' from. Good job.
NAME: Shane Zentner

NAME: Leo
COMMENTS THanks for everything you do.
NAME: Matthew Feinburg
COMMENTS I just wanted to give my thanks for running such a kick ass site. Beside finding it essential for my own climbing on the front range, I have enjoyed using it as a means to share my home turf (Front Range) with my friends here in Spain. I am living here in Madrid for the year and have enjoyed the superb climbing in the mountains near Madrid. When my spanish friends want to know about the climbing in the US and Colorado, I don't just have to brag, but I get to back it up with photos. Thanks!
NAME: Scott Duke
COMMENTS I'm a guy who moved out here from Texas to climb and this website has allowed me to pursue that. Thanks for all of your hardwork and hopefully you realize how much it has helped folks like me pursue our dreams and enjoy our passion for climbing. I wish you luck and health in your life. Best wishes and thanks again.
NAME: Mike
COMMENTS I read the news that you would no longer maintain the site and just wanted to compliment you on having been a wonderful resource for all climbers, beginners or hardass alike. Thanks.
NAME: John McNamee
COMMENTS I just saw the notice about the site becoming inactive and just wanted to thank you and Ben for not only the thousands of hours that you have put into it but also the positive impact its had on the climbing community.
It has been a great community service, a fun place to share ideas and learn from "locals". I'm a transplant from New Zealand and visit the site almost daily to gleam information for the next weekend or the next road trip. It really has filled in the gaps.
I don't have the skill set (Network engineer, servers, switches and routers) and writing code isn't my strong suit, but I hope someone can pick it up and continue with the site. I would be happy to help in some way even if its just admin type work.
NAME: Scott Henry
COMMENTS A long way from the days of PLC, eh? The site is amazing-- truly the best one on the internet. I live in Washington and constantly lament our lack of a similar resource out here. Surfing climbing boulder is almost a daily ritual for me--it gets me over missing Colorado. I'm sorry to see it coming to an end, but a big thank you to both you and Ben for taking it this far. You guys rock.
COMMENTS Someone just directed my attention to your recent post. You are right. All good things must come to an end, and in the case of CB.com, it's probably time to allow it, like all good soldiers, to quietly fade away.
I am a little ashamed to say that, for a year or two, CB.com and the community that it engendered was an important part of my life. Tony Bubb aside, there were a lot of ideas and beta exchange which inspired me. That has not been the case for a long time, as reflected by the fact that no one with anything important to say (even Bubb) posts anymore. Perhaps everything that can be said about climbing, or at least everything that I might know, has already been said. Perhaps my own interests have evolved. Probably a combination of both.
In any event, it's been a fun ride. My most sincere thanks for your efforts and Ben's efforts. I hope you do not feel that they were in vain.
NAME: Mike Storeim
COMMENTS Sorry to hear that you are calling it quits, but I understand the need to move on to other things. Best of luck in all your new ventures.
NAME: Kevin Currigan
COMMENTS Sorry to hear you guys are folding your tents. I really enjoy these sites and have come to rely on them for beta. Good luck with whatever you have planned. COMMENTS Many thanks Myke for the awesome site and all the hard work you have put into it over the years. I am still in shock at reading the words that the site may die. It is a very much living and breathing thing. Not perfect, but just as we humans are, eh? I cannot put into words my gratitude for what you have done for the Colorado climbing community. Though the site may seem like a simple idea, you brought it along at the right place and the right time. Kudos to you. The living side of the site will be sorely missed, though its memorial will be well loved and used. Wish I was a little further along in my computer studies and could take over the site. Take care and best of luck. Hope to see ya at the crag sometime. Cheers.
NAME: Mike McHugh
COMMENTS Sorry to hear that this darn fine web site may be going down. I currently teach a high school multimedia class, but spent about 10 years as a unix sys admin/webmaster guy. I don't think I could handle the site by myself, but if there are some other competent parties interested, I'd be happy to help keep the site going.
You guys have done an amazing job. I'm truly sorry to hear that you might be giving it up, but I certainly understand how much time and effort it must take to keep this beast going.
NAME: Mike Brooks
COMMENTS again thank you for all the beta
NAME: Kevin Bains
COMMENTS Thanks for a great site. Your hard work and dedication have realy made this site a valuable resource. And thanks for keeping it up, even in frozen state.
NAME: Tom Stocker
COMMENTS Dear Myke and Ben: While I understand your decision to leave ClimbingBoulder.com, it saddens me for youhave built it into a great resource for the climbing community, and perhaps beyond. You deserve all of the credit. This is the site I first turn to when I am scoping out a route I have not previously climbed. The photos are great and also quite useful in trying to explain to non-climbers what technical climbing is all about. I wish both of you the very best and trust that Colorado, Eldorado Canyon, and all the adventures that are so close to home here will never be far from your thoughts.
NAME: Brad Schildt
COMMENTS Great job guys! Thanks for keeping it up for so long. Good luck in your future endeavors.

COMMENTS We have never met, but I know Ben quite well, we train together on Tuesdays at The Spot. In recent years climbing boulder has been a part of my life. I thank you for your undeniable contribution, i wish it could go on, but i also realize when it's time, it's time. Wishing you all the best in your future endeavors
NAME: Livia Gilstrap
COMMENTS Thanks, I am new to the area but have heard through the grapevine how much work you have pu tinto this. Kudos.
NAME: Cory Cleveland
COMMENTS Myke, thanks so much for all your hard work with this site. I bet I have spent more time at CB.com than anyone in the past 5 years, and am sad to see it go. But again, thanks.
COMMENTS I just read the news. I cannot begin to tell you how sad I am to see the site go, or how useful it has been. I really appreciate all the hard work. SAY IT AIN'T SO!!! Anyway, good luck in the future. The site will be sorely mssed.
NAME: Randy Carmichael
COMMENTS Well, it has been a good run. I can't blame you for moving on. I would be suprised if anyone comes up with a better site. So, thanks for setting up CB in the first place. See you at the crag.
NAME: Dave Garber
COMMENTS You're right: all good things must come to an end. I can't thank you enough. I've litterly logged on to CB.com at least 100 times, especially in the weeks before I plan of visiting the area. (I'm from NY). Thanks again and good luck in all you do.
NAME: Alison Conrad
COMMENTS I appreciate all the hard work the both of you have done. I am sorry to see the website will no longer be updated. This has been such a great resource for me on finding info on climbs here and in other areas. Best of luck to you and I hope that someone will take over the site to continue with what you both have started.
NAME: Kasey Cordell

COMMENTS Just wanted to say that the site has helped me out A LOT! I've checked this site at my desk for the past two years and it has been really helpful. Sorry to hear that you're going to shut 'er down, but happy that you're moving forward. Thanks and best of luck. This has really added to the community.
NAME: Brian Weinstein
COMMENTS Like others have done I figured I'd do my small part in thanking you many times over for not only establishing these sites but working hard to keep them evolving into what they are today. Climbing communities across the country (esp the southwest) have benefited greatly from your work. Cheers and be well,
NAME: Chris Piper
COMMENTS I was sad to hear that your climbing sites might be going away, and then relieved to hear someone is willing to take them over. As I have enjoyed your sites over the years.... I think it would be a sad day if these valuable resources went away.
NAME: Gord Betenia
COMMENTS Very happy to hear that you are back in business. As a newcomer to the area the site has proven to be VERY useful. New route info, general area info and conditions reports are super valuable.... Once again, I'm super happy to see the site running.
NAME: Crista
COMMENTS Thanks for all your work and efforts over the past many years, and for initiating the web site. You did an excellent job.
NAME: Aaron Wilcher
COMMENTS BTW, thanks for your work. CB is always the first place I go before I go climbing.
NAME: Skip Harper
COMMENTS Damn Myke, for the first time in over 2 years, I was (finally) climbing down at Shelf and heard about you guys leaving. I do know how it is - as I have probably had at least three major 'turnovers' in my life. Whether its guts, stupidity, above average intellect, ambition or a combo of all, it almost always turns out for the better. You (guys) have contributed a whopper to the world of climbing, not only along the Front Range where it started, but it grew like crazy in proportion to your incredibly talented foresight. Good for you and BEST OF LUCK in whatever comes your way. I know you will do well. Thanks so much for all you have done.
I hope there is someone 'out there' who has the capacity and commitment to take over and let CB.com continue to grow. Unlikely, but we can hope.
Here's to a real quality guy.
NAME: Phil Broscovak
COMMENTS Thanks again for all the wonderful work.
