Context.

Those of you who aren't enough in stereotypical nerdy white dude spaces enough to experience the fact that you can't get two WW2 history buffs together without hours-long exhausting debates filled with insults at the other's lack of expertise, I envy you.

Downclimbing halfway up the VB highball after watching those Mellow vids of cool looking kids in little beanies and thinking you’d give bouldering a try:

What it looks like to everyone else when you decide to climb as a party of 4 on any easy trade route (you’ll be on it for the next 7 hours):

They don't like it. Stop it.

Go develop your own crag if you want to add something to the proj, the 108 is an endless sea of granite and there's a thousand crags you could go clean on top rope. Y'now use all natural anchors, and just decide to call it a TR crag and there you go one weekend later you got yourself a crag you can post on the proj. They'll even share info with you freely on their forums, they're just requesting to keep things more low key than the proj. That's not a lot to ask, guys. The 108 development scene is fucking rad and they work hard and it feels disrespectful to me to post their crags against their wishes.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
