These are super cool. Stoked to see what else you come up with. Awesome to see some original climbing artwork. Just a friendly suggestion: if I’m being asked to pay a few cents less than $49 shipped for a t-shirt I want to know more about the shirts being used than what’s on your product page. A link to the actual shirts you are sourcing or at least the brand, type of cotton, knit type etc. Eta- not trying to imply its not a great value and amazing product- just thinking about how much t-shirt quality varies. All products and the about section now have very detailed info about the sourcing including links. Thanks again for the feedback! I really appreciate it.

BRO. THESE GO HARD AF WOW. I love the black and red, white with red (or any other color) accents would also be cool. I'm super into the comic-book, heavy-metal motif so I'm really really really digging your style. Posters would be SICK! I'd absolutely buy some. I'm bookmarking your site. I fourth a Monkey Face, I know about 800 people who would go feral for that. I also suggest Tahquitz (as a whole) in Idyllwild and "Predator" at Rumney. I am currently finishing up a general Yosemite version. Since there were a lot of voices for Monkey Face - I'll see to that one next! Stay tuned

Maybe I'm missing it, but I don't see any women's sizing? Unisex does not mean unisex, it means a men's shirt that women have to settle for. Any chance you can get women's shirts? thanks!!

I had the feeling that Lonnie Kauk was using the yosemite lightning bolt in his clothing line. Did you talk to him? Maybe he doesn't care? Do you care? I would. Trademarks and copyright aside there is the concept of respecting the efforts and domain of others. Legally you can probably get away with anything you want as there is not enough money at stake to involve lawyers and hard contracts. To be fair the origonal bolt was chalked on the boulder by Mike Grahm who was a surfer from Newport beach and was certainly aware of Lightning bolt surf boards by Gerry Lopez. That is where it came from. Climbers added the little dash lines later at the tips of the bolt. Was this done to set it apart? Probably. Lightning Bolt in the surf world was the biggest company of the 1970's. Lopez was a god at Pipeline. Lightning Bolt was his brand. Midnight Lightning is a Jimi Hendrix song.

I appreciate your feedback and concern. Of course I do not want to steal anybodys IP - especially if it his historically weighted as a symbol as Midnight Lightning.
I did some searching and there is no registered trademark, nor is the image protected in any way. Another search turned out 120+ shops that are selling some version of the lightning, ranging from big companies like Mammut, the Official Yosemite Merch store (!) all the way to anything you can think of on Etsy, Ebay and other small climbing brands.
I am currently in conversation with multiple non-profits including the AAC, asca, PPCA, and a few more minor local ones so that a part of the proceeds from whatever I sell contributes to a program designed to directly help preserve, maintain and/or develop the areas we climb in.
To the moral argument - I feel that this is an honest expression from my side to honor the legacy of the places that I portray in my artworks, and contribute to keeping them accesible for many years to come. However, Lonnie is very welcome to reach out to me if there is a persisting issue - and I would gladly share my $5 of profit margin that I would make from a sale with him.

Updates! Been very busy with work and moving but getting back at it now.
Currently working on: Eldorado Canyon Naked Edge Walk of Shame Additionally I had an Idea to make Shirts of specific types of climbers... everybody knows the guy that only does overhangs... or the girl that turns everything into a kneebar... or the people that are seriously addicted to shoving their taped up hands into things. To make it not boring I thought a mystical-tarot style theme would fit pretty well.. sounds dumb I know - but maybe it makes sense visually: As always Your feedback is very appreciated - so if these end up being made for real I'll randomly select 3 people from feedback comments in this thread and they'll get a free shirt (You can choose which one).

Suffering, or the Masochist, with an offwidth climber. Will you be doing more prints of the topos?

Tarot-style is a great idea, love the unique art look. Missing the opportunity to put each hand of the crack addict into a different type of jam.
