Grand Junction in June

My wife and I are teachers and we've got 2 kids under 5. Were looking to spend a month somewhere and Grand Junction prices seem reasonable. Wondering what you all think of Grand Junction in June as far as temps and activities, mostly for bouldering and mountain biking. Thanks! |

Really hot. |

I'll check out Hill City, thanks! Also open to other suggestions. Seems like Grand Junction will be tough that time of year. I'd say MTB might be a little higher on the scale since my wife is more of a biker, but mainly we want to be able to check out a new spot with the fam and have some activities where one of us could get out solo easily for a couple hours |

It will be warm but not hot. Think high 80’s to low 90’s. You’d still want to do most things before 2pm though. Most of the good climbing is going to be in Unaweep canyon which is about 80 minutes south east of Junction. There are loads of mountain biking within 20 minutes of Junction |
