The rest of us live in the real world, not anime land. You are definitely acting your age. Try posting less and climbing more, you will understand how cringe this is as you get older. All of us had our cringe days, thankfully it wasn't on the Internet forever.

you're probably right, but i don't think of myself as living in 'anime land' it just comes to mind when i think of someone saying something like that, first time i've said it though. calling people cringe or immature doesn't help them learn. i'll keep the posts coming.

it's not gibberish, ね (ne) is a japanese particle that ends a sentence. it's added and can mean 'right?' i see it as similar to people saying 'innit' in british culture, that's what i meant. i can imagine "you'll look mighty foolish if ya did" in a southern accent, LOL
