Denali May-June 2025

Hello everyone,

I’m hoping to make an attempt on Denali in Late May/Early June of 2025 (no earlier than May 23rd start date) and I’m hoping to find a couple partners. I climbed Kilimanjaro last year and felt okay with the altitude. For winter break I will be attending a course in the Canadian Rockies on alpine climbing and Ice climbing which will include avalanche education. For spring break I’m planning on going to a Denali Prep course in Colorado that will be tackling specific skills. I haven’t necessarily done the traditional wickets on the mountain checklist going to Denali, the downside of living on the East Coast and having limited time off school. I’d love to climb together before Denali, and I wouldn't be opposed to doing something on Rainier or a similar peak as a practice run. Anyway, if anyone’s at all interested or has thoughts please reach out.

Hello McKenzie:  I am looking for a Denali partner for spring 2025 as well.  I have climbed in Denali several times...the West Ridge of Mt Hunter, the Khalhitna Queen, and part of the WB route.  If you continue to have an interest let me know.  Terry Woolston

I’m super interested in your trip and the timeline lines up perfectly with my time off school. I go to school in Fort Collins, CO so could totally join you on your Denali Prep course here if you have the same spring break week as me! (I would also totally take you out ice climbing around here if there’s time!)

I have some experience mountaineering in Peru up to 5500m and would be very interested in doing Rainier as a practice run!

Hey Mckenzie! I'm Zach Markham and am looking to form or join a Team to summit via West Butt route, for late May/early June time frame. I've been there three times; each time, I turned around for safety issues with my partner. Turned around last time at 19,200 feet. Would really like to summit this time! Sounds like there are a few people here interested — my partner and I are still looking for a 3rd to join our party for safer glacier travel. We are also planning for late May-mid June. We bring a combination of guiding experience, personal climbing experience, and a big endurance background. Intending to ski from the summit, objectives/routes somewhat flexible.
