Rowing Machine
|
Anyone here use a rowing machine regularly? Any that you recommend? A little background, we are 5.11 climbers who are in decent shape. We don’t want this to lose weight, as we are both our ideal weights. We like Cardio as it keeps our endurance up for multiple sports. However, we just sold our treadmill as I absolutely hated running on it. So I was thinking a rower might be a great tool to use as a climber. |

Thanks for the reply. I saw a post on Reddit that echoed a lot of the same thing! |

+1 to the Concept 2. All other rowing machines are cheap imitations. Diving further into your post, I would personally recommend a mixed modality approach to cardio. Just rowing (or running, or jump rope, or HIIT) can and will produce results, but not to the level that mixing it up will. There’s a lot of good resources out there to provide some simple programming that combines mixed modalities. |

If we aren’t climbing we are cycling or running or swimming. The rower will be for 15-30 minute workouts when needed at the house. |

Concept 2, no question. The model D is a good choice. I personally prefer the air bike over the rower but the rower is a fantastic conditioning tool. The concept 2 rower also can be stored vertically which is a huge plus since it doesn't have a big footprint when you do that. |

New Concept2 rowERG on the way! Thanks All! |
