bay area - ish locations for trying on helmets? bd vision / vapor

I have always hated my bulky uncomfortable disaster of the petzl elios.  I would love to talk to who ever designed that product in order to ask them how they sleep at night but that is for another thread.

I'd like to believe I would wear one if it fits me a little better.  Im looking for lightweight and comfortable with a low profile.  You know how you cant seem to stick your body / face inside corners / flares enough to climb them because the massive toaster box you stuck on top of your head to keep you safe and make mama proud is acting more like an nfl lineman stopping your progress rather than a piece of safety equipment?  Do all helmets cause this?

A selection to sample would be nice. otherwise I suppose I could just take up bouldering.
