Help Us Restore Access to The Soul Asylum in the Utah Hills

Limestone lovers unite! I know our neighbors in the Vegas area often come up here to climb, so figured I'd share here as well.

The St George Climbers Coalition is close to restoring access to the Soul Asylum. We've reached a preliminary agreement with the mining company to allow public access to the crag once again IF we can acquire the needed liability insurance. SGCC will pay this fee annually, but we must fundraise first to be able to cover the expense.

Please read more at this post (https://www.instagram.com/p/DCUPfuByZAE/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==) to find out some background and learn how you can help. Check out our website to sign up for an SGCC membership or make a donation to help with these efforts, and stay tuned on our social media for updates. Hopefully we can raise enough to make this a reality!

Bump. I have only been there once but I want to go back. Great crag. Even tho’ I live in CA, I sometimes shoot up to those quality limestone crags. Will definitely make a contribution.

Great cliff with tons of fun routes, I definitely would love for access to be restored!

Is access to The Diamond under threat from the same (or any) mining company?  That place is incredible.

Thanks y'all. Definitely a great crag!

The Diamond and other nearby crags are thankfully not an issue currently.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
