Transport to zion or closest town

I may have to fly into LV to meet up with partners at zion.  Is there a shuttle or bus to Zion or towns close to it like Springdale or St George?

Is there a rideshare site I can use?

It is intended as an airport shuttle service so I'm sure they can handle large baggage.  However, you should probably call them in case they want to charge extra for it or something.

I have heard Uber is about $120 from St George to Zion and it's showed me $97 this morning. 

Depending on when you show up, there is possibly someone at the climbing gym that could drive you since they are going back that way after their session (risky to rely on this though).  Or you could ask for a ride here if you give long enough notice and maybe offer some money.

There is a plan for a bus service ($5!!) between St George and Zion but I've heard they're having trouble hiring drivers.

You may want to get to La verkin, it's larger than Springdale and closer than st g. Are you renting a house or just camping?

Mix of camping and motel, is Hurricane closest place to get groceries?  Springdale is expensive

The closest place to get groceries would be in La verkin. Great camping can be found for free near Kolton terrace road.
