Are your nights (or days) off spent prepping your big wall kit, studying the minute differences between the Sloan and Reed guidebooks, or watching Dawn Wall on repeat?? Yosemite EMS and Yosemite Medical Clinic is looking for you to join our team! For a very limited time, the National Park Service has authorized emergency hiring for critical positions at Yosemite National Park. Yosemite EMS Paramedic (NREMT-P) - Front-country ambulance and backcountry EMS response
- 12-hour day shifts, on-call night response
- Shared housing in Yosemite Valley
- Length of employment not to exceed 1 year, with potential for extension for a 2nd year

@Kip Kasper - The nursing position is currently listed as a GS-09 "not to exceed one year." Send your resume to yose_ymc@nps.gov! @Michael Layton - Unfortunately not right now. Much of the clinic staff, including the Physician and NP/PA positions, are under USPHS. I'm sure they would love to chat with you about that career path!
