Replacement Dogbones

My Madrock Concorde draws have finally outlived their dogbones. They came with a skinny 10 mm x 12 cm dyneema dogbone. Thinking about replacing the dogbone with a cheaper more durable 16 mm wide dogbone - but I'm worried they won't sit right. The Madrock Concorde biners have a steeper angle where the dogbone sits than say, a petzl spirit or similar.

Thoughts? (also feel free to try to sell me your new/like new dogbones)

Nice ones for 7$ at REI

Or randoms for 2-3 bucks each.

I'm in the same boat. I was thinking of taking my madrock carabiners to a gear shop and see how a wider dogbone would look.

BD has them but they are a pain in the ass to put carabiners through the rubber stopper

Breath on that rubber thing to warm it up and add a bit of moisture. Warm water does the trick way better. A bit of mild soap might be even better although I've never tried it, warm water is more than enough.

Re: Steeper angle - similar to those draws? Looks kind of weird, not a problem while climbing though.

(All pictured draws originally came with 10mm dyneema, 18mm nylon now)

CAMP Sling Stop dogbones are awesome. The Karstop Evo carabiner retainer is honestly the only one on the market that actually works and it even protects the dogbone from abrasion. Others don't hold the carabiner as well or break when you try to put a new carabiner in them. There is a standard 16mm polyester, a wide version, or dyneema available too.
