Im in need of some clown feet climbing shoes (size 14-15 or eu size 48-49). If possible I'd like some with a moderate downturn but I'm not too picky. |

Hey if you’re just getting into climbing I’ve got a couple pairs of beginner shoes I’d be willing to give away for free. If you want recommendations from another clown footed person I loved the scarps instinct vs shoes. They broke in pretty quick and then fit great. I also like the mad rock drones. They take quite a lot longer to break in but once they do they feel great. If you want more info and recommendations feel free to reach out to me |

Check out the sales on madrock.com, plenty of size 14 and 15 starting less than $50. Remora or Flash models may have the downturn you are looking for, plenty of other options too. |

As another climber with "clown-size" feet, any thoughts on how the Scarpa or Mad Rock sizing fit? I wear a 15 in all sneakers and rarely find a 15/eur50 climb shoe in stores to try on. So rather than order a bunch of 15s online that may not fit, I keep using my old 5.10s in sz 15. Also saw 5.10 Mocs in sz 15 on sale, which I am interested in, but curious if those run small? FYI for ice I wear Baruntse in a sz 50 as that's all I could find < $500 and they run 1/2 sz small. |

I’m between a 14 and a 15 for most sneakers and boots normally and my scar pad are a 48eu (I think they also have a couple sizes larger in the instinct sv) and my madrock drones are 14 cause it’s the largest size they sell. Those are basically my go to shoes from now on. I’ve also tried unparalleled (which is basically all the 5.10 engineers) mocs in size 14 that the jury is still out on whether or not they will ever be comfortable so a 15 in the 5.10 may fit well. Overall having clown feet really sucks in this sport and your best bet may be to find shoes on sale and give them a try. I know at times mad rock does demo shoe sales that have shoes listed for like $40 |

I wear a 48 and am a big fan of 5.10s, or at least the pre adidas ones. The mocs are leather and will stretch to fit if you size them tight. Scarpa has some large options too. The maestro fits me well and has a slight downturn |

What do the clown's legs mean? I'm going to buy tickets for a vacation in the mountains with my girlfriend soon, and I need to study everything on this topic as much as possible. I do not know what shoes to choose for us to climb mountains and climb rocks. Are there unique options for this, or I can use something like forstepstyle.com/collection… /? No one can give me an exact answer, but I can't go there without taking everything I need with me. There I am unlikely to find special mountain shoes somewhere if I urgently need them. Plus, the girl also has to choose what she likes. Would you please write your tips and thoughts |

I have a pair of 14.5 like new and used 15's. |
|
What are the 15s? |
|
they are older 5.10 lace ups. nothing special. i can email some pics |
|
The grey ones are size 15 5.10s. Orange are Millet size 14.5. I can make you a deal on both if you're interested. |

Hey Dale, thanks for the pics. They don't seem much different than my 2004 flat 5.10s. Was hoping for something a bit more...more what, I'm not sure, but more different than what I already use. Good luck to you! |
