The crack between the main boulder and block was just 1-2mm and I had trouble to fit the crowbar tip in. I find a flaring spot, where I could fit in just 5mm of the crowbar tip and therefor I couldn't put too much force on it. Just light repetitive tugs. Same thing on other side of the block. After 5min work the 2m x 1.5m x 0.8m (so so bounding box dimensions) solid granite block came off with big thumpf! The separation faces told a very grim story. This death block was glued-in just with mud. I ruined someones 6c boulder but perhaps saved someones bacon. So, there you have it :) |
