This is seriously about the most fucked up thing I can think of someone doing to a person while climbing besides just pushing them off a cliff.

OP: did you by chance have a phone with you and snap any photos of the dude as he was finishing the pitch?  

I'm sure it's already been thought of, but wondering if there is any sort of photo of the person out there.  I imagine with the popularity of the area that someone may even have a photo of the guy in the background of another shot or something.  May be worth getting the story as far and wide into not only the climbing circles, but just outdoors folks who were out hiking and see if you can round up some photos from people that were out there that day.  

Well, on the bright side we have a clear example of what is and isnt booty.

But I suspect that the climbing community can come together for you.  I just came across an old set of TCUs in my garage yesterday, and was thinking maybe I'd donate them to get you back on the rock.  But you had a shiny rack of high quality cams, you don't want my raggedy old cams.  Maybe we can get a GoFundMe going to replace your rack?  I'd kick in for that.  Anyone else?
