I’ve just rewritten the lowest-level code and database structure for all of Mountain Project. 5,400 lines of code changed across 200 files just went live all at once. This should allow MP to continue to grow and remain relatively fast to load various pages, but I’m SURE there are many bugs out there - it’s the most complicated project I’ve done in a long time… maybe ever.
Please reply here or PM me if you find any problems.
I know and am working on: (all bugs fixed I think)
Fixed: - "For Sale" posts cannot be hidden - Some images are not appearing - Showing "Compliments" is broken, and the number is wrong on user page - The forum alerts (top right corner) are not clearing/working correctly - Many pages say "server busy"
Thanks Nick and happy new year! When I hit the back button in the forums I get the message about the site bring down (and list of alternate activities) - this is in the app on my iPhone.
All of the inline photos in my comment were broken, and editing the comment stripped the img tags out completely. Not sure what the issue is there, or if there's any hope of restoring the original state from years ago.
