I may be wrong, but isn't Fresno in the San Joachin Valley?  My co-worker moved to MN to get her son away from the gang problem there.

Yes it is, I hear more stories about Stockton/Modesto/Bakersfield regarding crime/gang violence though. But I only drive through those areas so what do I know.

Well she made a mistake. Those gangsters would have showed him what real love, friendship, and family are.

I've met the young man, and I think he is too delicate for such love. He fits in great with the Minneapolis arts crowd, and seems to be flourishing.

Joaquin. Yes, your co-worker made the right choice. Fresno may be a short drive from Yosemite, so on that level it's a climbers paradise. But the city itself sucks.

This makes no sense on most any level.

Have you been to either of those places?

Yeah I've been to all of them. But I need to climb in California more to be able to know how great the climbing is...

I'm worried about Stephen.  Perhaps he should stay close to home.

I have lived in Atwater, Merced, Fresno and Clovis. None of Kalifornia is worth living in IMO but Clovis was the least offensive of them all.  Northern Kali seems like it might be a decent place to live too.  Yes, I have walked the streets of Bakersfield...........once.

Now I live in northern Arizona and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Cheers!

You don’t want to live in California any place worth living is very expensive my 2,500sq’ house is 1.3. Perhaps moving to Utah or Tennessee and growing your own weed is what you really need to do.

I say stay in Cali and grow your own weed. The Feds would lock you up FOREVER in Utah or Tennessee.
