Petzl ripping off Almost Alpine?

I’m sure most everyone has seen the “Best Belayer in the world” video on various social media by now. The first time I saw it I really felt like they ripped off the Alpine Jesse “shtick” if you will. I told a friend about it and he said he didn’t think so that you would kinda naturally gravitate to those kinda jokes and things if you were doing a “best belayer in the world kinda thing”... surely they didn’t just strait rip it off simply because someone would notice. 

So I just wrote it off as whatever but now I’ve seen a few other people draw the same conclusion and now I’m curious of anyone who’s seen Almost Alpine what they think? 

I felt the same way. Total rip off of Almost Alpine.
