Ice near Francie's Cabin?

My family and I are going on a hut trip just after Christmas and I was wondering...

Anyone know if there is any ice to TR near Francie's Cabin, perhaps in the Crystal Lake drainage?

I've not been up there in a bit, but the
territory just doesn't have much vertical
around for ice.

I'd echo what Steve said. It's a wild-ass guess, but the next drainage to the south (Spruce Creek) has some steep cascades and might well have some ice in it. I've only been in there in the summer, so I can't say for certain. In any case, it would be a couple miles of approach.
