Mark your calendar...Thursday February 11, 2010 is the first Community Night at The Alpine Training Center This is an open house for current athletes and new athletes interested in checking out the facility. Starting at 6pm there will be short training sessions for athletes to demo the programs; both regular and climbing sessions will be available to try. Cilogear Backpacks will be on hand so you can check out their cool offerings as well. Then after training at 7pm there will be beer, a slideshow by Jesse Huey on his Top Ten Canadian Rockies Alpine Climbs, and schwag to giveaway.

Hey Doug,
Love to make it to this but a little too far away.
Can you post an address(if you know one) to make donations to Kelly?

Can we have the beer while we train or is that saved for the advanced classes?

Shoot, I'm coming down from Portland for the free Avery beer.

And I doubt I waste my time 'working out' while drinking it, but I think it's a very good idea for the rest of you to do some good workouts!

I will be bringing as much new CiloGear pack stuff as I can for anybody who shows up to fondle and buy at the end of the evening.

I think I'll do a silent auction for Kelly. His marg fund needs all the help it can get right now!

Nice work everyone for pulling this together. Great schwag I scored an awesome blue prana chalkbag that matches my harness. Thanks Doug {{smiley face}}

It was good to see Kelly up and around -best wishes for his future recovery and the success of the Alpine Training Center. I hope the Margarita bucket will end up buying lots o'healing

cheers~ kirra
