All- Does anyone have suggestions for a place to buy quality bolts for cheap? I have found Rawl/Powers 5-piece for 2.50$/bolt for 3/8"by3" and Fixe Wedge Bolt for 5.49$/bolt for 3/8"by2-3/4", but these are through climbing stores. I would think that an industrial supply store would carry them for cheaper. Are there any industrial fastener stores around Denver that sell for cheaper? Any recommended online stores? Also, are Rawl and Powers the same company? I thought I read that Powers bought Rawl but can't seem to find the article anymore. Also, any additional recommendations for other brands of bolts that have equivalent strength ratings?

Check out this URL: mcmaster.com/#92403a201/=4g… Scroll down and look for part number 92403A201 for a price comparison ($1.70/each for ten or more). These are made by Powers who DID buy out Rawl. The prices for longer than 3" and greater than 3/8" diameter are good too. I placed a couple of orders with McMaster-Carr. The shipping cost wasn't horrible, and the lead time seemed very fast! Good luck.

I am in construction and have found that Colorado Fasteners gives me excellent deals on Powers 3/8" and 1/2". Give them a shot, and they are in Colorowdy. I think they are out of Denver.

fastenmsc.com By far the best place to buy Power bolts that I have ever found. 3/8 by 3" is $1.25, but you have to buy boxes of 50

You can always catch sales at Fixe. For example, they have 3/8 x 2 3/4 bolts on sale now for $1.85 and 3/8 x 3 bolts with hanger for $4.15. fixeusa.com/sale.htm
