Featured Trad, Sport, Bouldering, and other popular climbing routes and climbing areas Towson, Maryland.
On Towson University campus, totally public and free access. Parking may be difficult during sporting events or during busy college class times, but typically not difficult to find. Be mindful of parking restrictions and pay attention to signage around the parking lots. Go down Auburn drive and pass the football field and parking lot. At the bottom of the hill, there is the soccer field its respective parking lot (Lot 6). The boulder is in the far right corner of the lot, and has a large carved tree to the left of it.
There is a wonderful trail that follows the Jones Falls Stream, which has some very fun and low impact boulders nearby. A small amount of people from nearby neighborhoods go for casual walks with their dogs in this area but it is rarely ever congested. Park at the "Greenspring Branch - Roland Lake" trail head directly off of falls road. Most of the boulders are visible within a hundred yards of the walking path.
Second building you walk by if you are on the back road through campus off of Charles. Its got the tall glass windows. Turn under the bridge onto Charles, look straight ahead.
